CEO Of Chrysler, Marchionne In Merger Talks With GM?

As was stated, this is old news. And I think it would be bad for both GM and FCA. Not really much synergy - both manufactures have strengths in SUVs and trucks, and a weakness in cars that would not improve their global positioning.

A FCA merger with VW, Honda, Nissan, or possibly Kia/Hyundai would make more sense due to the synergies it would create.

And FCA wanting to "ofload" Chyrsler makes absolutely no sense. Chrysler is very much the strength of the alliance.
