I really would have liked the propane option, but I couldn't justify the expense. We'll probably use the generator 3 or 4 times a year. Only when it takes more than 1 day to get to where we're going. We don't boondock. Only camp where there is at least power and water. I was curious about whether it would run the 15k A/C on propane. Good to hear!
As to the previously mentioned quote from Camping World, I really think it is just a hack job. The person who wrote it probably has never heard or seen a Champion run. Also, from the spelling and grammar, you can tell that he is not a journalist. So it's just someone reviewing a product that they know nothing of, except what the Red and Blue snobs (not the good nice red and blue owners) say. I am now stepping off the soap box, 2 cents poorer.
