champion 100263 3400 watt inverter/generator question

I have an older champion 3400W open frame. Ran many years on my pop-up/ac without any issue. Would not run my Travel Trailer with AC though. Maybe just tired. Upgraded to a 4500 Ryobi with 30amp plug. No issues with it. I like to see that more options are coming out to compete with Honda though. Should help bring the price down for us peasants that can't afford $2000 in generators to only run a couple times a year.
