Cheapest source for Honda 2000 genny?

The Honda 2000 watt generator is so sought after in the greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island areas, that you have to pay almost new price for 'like new' used ones (less the tax, of course...). Here's an example of what people are posting for them...

He calls it 'like new'. In the darkest photo, you can see that the case is cracked in the upper left side. It looks like it's been dragged behind his ATV. The ventilation holes are full of mud.
Yet he says it's never been used, and is asking $1200 (Can).
We'd be a way better off, buying a new one (and paying the 12% tax...). So we'll get the warranty, and sell it for $1200 or so down the road, when we sell it.
