Just wondering if anyone on here has a 720 Cirrus truck camper wanting some feed back. I have never been in one looked at an 820 a few yrs back and we loved it but they are a bit heavy for my truck. Thanks in advance

Cirrus had some quality control issues on the first year 720's, check the Cirrus owner's group FB page for details. I think they stopped production for a while to reevaluate. The 820's have been much more reliable, and maybe the 720's will be as well in the future. Be careful on the 720's on dealer lots right now.

I went thru one. Unfortunately I knew more about it than the dam salesman. I really wanted the 820 but the layout is very similar to the 720.

Upon inspection the DW and I decided we didn't like the layout. The booth kitchenette is tight and though they claim someone could sleep there it could only be a child. The step bumper (diamond plate) seems quite heavy for the benefit.

Last year they could be had for $25,000 if you travel to New Hampshire. All other dealers I searched out wanted $30,000.

The 720's wet shower floor spills out into the main walkway of the unit. Being made of plastic I could see that some damage would be inevitable.

Sirrus was no help as their dealers are limited. JMOI

I've taken 6 showers on 18 gallons and had water left over.

No, they are not long hot soaks, but I get plenty clean with ~2.5 gallons of water. It's more than enough to wet down, lather up, shampoo up, and rinse.

On a typical weekend outing I take two showers, and they can be full luxurious hot soakings. As much as I have patience for. Still have half the tank of water left.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

^So what's your point?
You feel the need to point out the obvious in a denegrating manner. Is it a surprise that a small, lightweight shortbed TC doesn't have a dry bath and 50 gal tanks?

2100 pounds dry and only 20 gallons freshwater limits your dry camping ability IMO. Wet bath is somewhat of a PITA.
