City/Onboard/BW Flush on passenger side

Howdy from MN- I'm probably missing something but... We just traded in our Shasta Oasis for a Cruiser MPG 27, however the city/onboard water points are on the opposite side of common sense (vs. the driver side). Any suggestions on what you've done? (I'm told, in theory it's because our biffy is on that side)

Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions. Happy camping.

  • Just be thankful they didn't put the waste tanks connection there too.
  • Fresh water gravity fill inlet location is usually dictated by where the fresh water tank may also be located ... with the last 3 trailers we've owned that FW inlet on 2 of them has been on the curb side of the trailer where I in fact prefer it to be. :) All other services have always been located on the street side where they belong, regardless of where the tanks or "biffy" may be located ... can't imagine any reason for locating these on the curb side. :h If that's not the case on yours then the solution seems obvious to me - run the necessary hose so you can reach that port. ;)
  • My 2015 Winnebago 2101DS has the water fill on the passenger side with no issues. The "city water" is on the traditional driver's side. 8 foot of hose shouldn't be much of an issue.
