Bought some "black streak cleaner" at Wally World and it works like a charm. I forget what I paid for it, but a bottle lasts for years.
Same here. We were amazed how well it worked. - fatboy66ExplorerStarbrite Black Streak Remover.
- Steve_B_ExplorerMagic Eraser.
- Passin_ThruExplorerPainted mine flat balck, no more streaks.
- TonyOCKyExplorerAnother remedy for streaks is Scubbing Bubbles. Discovered this amazing remedy cleaning my old trailer ready for sale. It's amazing! Just wish I'd discovered it four years ago.
- tvman44ExplorerFinally got rid of the black streaks on the front of our 5er. Rinsed the front with the hose then sprayed Awsome on it and rubbed with a Mr. Klean Magic Eraser and all gone, Did not require much rubbing. Put a coat of 303 on the decals, then put a light coat of rubbing compound followed by a coat of paste wax except on the decals then put another coat of 303 on the decals and she looks like new again.:)
- Rubber_Ducky1ExplorerWe've used straight Simple Green on the black streaks. We then immediately rinse it off. After doing the whole trailer we follow with a good automotive "wash & wax". It works for us.
- daystromExplorerBe very careful with Awesome. Make sure you rinse it off well. I usually spray it on and use a brush on the streaks. They melt away like butter but if you don't rinse all the product off, it will permanently mark the painted surface. Don't ask how I found that out!
