That swamp cooler looks pretty neat, run on 12 volt, even from the solar panel! I wonder if it could be fitted in place of the AC on top of the camper, cause mine is almost useless when I need it in very warm wheather since my gene will not keep up. Or may be a small window unit could be available to install in the front pass through camper window.

Yes, that is much lighter than a typical AC unit. I think mine weighs about 100 lbs. Removing that much weight from way up on top would lower the CG making the TC a little less tippy.

A swamp cooler won't work in the SE US though so I will have to stick with the Polar Cub.

The 13.5 KBtu A/C on one of my campers sagged the roof it was so heavy :(

Sounds like a disaster to inject moisture/humidity into something so sensitive to moisture as an RV.

Most strive to get moisture out. LOL

The air is so dry here naturally that a little extra moisture isn't a bad thing.
