Comfort step ?

Anyone own these? Considering these as my 3 step lippert steel steps aren't user friendly. I modded my steps with entrance mat but old dog won't enter. Am Concerned they may not fit securely as my steps have a curvature to them . Emailed manufacturer and was told they were designed for aluminum steps but people are using them with steel ones.

Comfort step didn't fit well on my curved steel steps . Returned them Bought the glo step revolution 4 step model seem perfect for my tt.

Originally didn't see the large thread on these steps. There is a lubricant I can recommend for these "WHITE LIGHTNING " it's a mountain bike chain lube it sheds dirt it's like pariffin when it drys . Have used this lube for many yrs on lots of things that get dirty.. Currently using" clean ride" version

Cheers

Anyone that has leg, back and other physical ailments can benefit from the Revolution Glow Steps. I have been in Florida for the past 3 months and have used the Glowsteps each day. It is a huge difference from the OEM steps. Many Snowbirders in our park spend a lot of money and effort to build a set of solid steps and then have to store them somewhere or leave them behind. Our Glowstep solves that problem and we have the steps with us on the road as well. Only you can decide if the cost is justifiable.

What about Torklift Glowsetps? The riser height is 7" compared to approx. 9" in the Lippert steel steps. Much easier to walk up and down. Being scissor style, they automatically adjust for sites that slope up or down and the last step is adjustable. They're a simple re & re too. You will end up with at least one additional riser and step compared to the steel steps. Doesn't matter that your existing steps may be curved. Much more stable as well and don't bounce up and down like steel steps do.

I would say a dog would be happier with these. We have the Glowsteps and our dog likes them and we like them too. There's different models depending on the height of your floor/frame off the ground.

I looked at the Comfort Steps on their website. Looks like a lot of bother. You have to store the lower steps somewhere and put them on each time. Not for me... If the ground drops away on the site you are one, the lowest step can't be lowered. Glowsteps are far better IMHO. Comfort Step video

X100 on the Glowstep. We have them and getting up and down the steps is so much easier. My dogs now just run up them without a thought.

Bottom platform is not a viable option as it doesn't change the 9"+ step height for the rest of the steps.

The glow step revolution is the other viable option but seems not available till 5/19/16 & at $549 well ouch.

Will review the comfort step soon, as it's on the way.

I did the same as DOWNTHEROAD except i got the high dollar one from CW..
(dumb me)

This is must have thing for us in our off-road camping. This one is super strong built and you can really stomp your boots on it and not bring as much leaves and woods trash. This stows right in hallway where we open our outside door so makes it easy to pull out and use first thing when we setup...

Mine sets on the ground for the most part folded up... That first step is the one that is a higher step with my OFF-ROAD trailer using the 15-inch wheels.

As you can see we have a pretty high first step on our setup...

The step system you are posting about is $250.00

We bought one of these. Works great. My knees and the dog love it. Just place in under the bottom folding steps that are attached to the trailer.

How about a link showing what you are considering? I did a search, and there are multiple "comfort rv steps". Don't know which one you are thinking about.
