We had a 2014 F250 Platinum diesel before we got the 350. It towed our previous bumper pull toyhauler nicely, which was 32' long and close to 13' high, even up and down I-70 through the mountains here in CO. One trip in particular was extra windy coming down the western side, and while we felt the wind for sure, the truck handled it like a champ. I'm guessing we were probably 8,500lbsish loaded up, full gas tank but empty water, with no toy in the back. It also was pretty decent to drive without the trailer, I commuted to work with it sometimes. Much more comfortable than our current 350, but not as a comfortable as the F150 we had before that.
We only got the 350 DRW in preparation for getting a larger 5th wheel hauler. Otherwise we would have just stuck with the 250.
