- PowercordmanExplorerTwo options:
1. Buy a cheapo TT-30 extension cord to add to one of the cords you have already. Here's a 25' one for under $40 (http://goo.gl/Z44cv)
2. Chop off one of the "Twist Locking," ends from the power cords and wire on a TT-30R connector. TT-30R Wiring Plug under $20 (http://goo.gl/wp4Ku)
If you don't know how to do the wiring. Here is a quick tutorial: http://goo.gl/m2PMP
-Source (Power Cord Mfg.) - RoyBExplorer IIIf I had two of those 30A power cords with RV 30A MALE one one end and the RV30A Twist FEMALE connection on the other I would cut off one of the TWIST FEMALE ENDS about a couple of feet or so back. Then I would add a HD 120VAC 15A MALE plug on the end of that cable to make up an adapter that looks like this
Then I would take the other end that has the RV30A MALE connector already on it and install a RV30A FEMALE on the cut off end which would look something like this
This would provide you with an RV30A extension cord that would mate up with second RV30A cable that has the twist connection on it.
One of my future plans here is to change over my pull-out RV30A shore power cable and install a RV30A flip door socket. then my power arrangement for my off-road POPUP would end up being something like this.
The bottom future plans shows the available ways to power up my OFF-ROAD POPUP Trailer. The farthest bulkhead flip door connection to the right is fed by my 1500W On-Board PSW Inverter which would connect into my shore power connection when needed as shown.
All kinds of PLAN B routes here for powering up my off-road POPUP.
In other words don't just replace the twist on RV30A connector but make another adapter cable out of it.
food for thought

Yes, two main cables. Just hoping there was a pigtail or something simple to connect them when needed.
There is an adapter. It is called a female plug. Buy two, wire them onto the cords and you have made two extension cords. - Dick_BExplorerMy power cord extension has a female connector on one end and the other end goes into the power source box.
- beemerphile1ExplorerI would remove the twist-lock from one cord and add a female 30 amp connector.
- mich800ExplorerBetter yet and at camping world.

It came with one and I just had another from a past rig that I kept. May have to just buy an extension at Wally world, probably cheaper.
Can you just connect them and not use the twist lock on the second cord. That is essentially what I do when I get in a situation where I need a longer cord to reach the box. I just do not have the twist lock female on my second cord. It is a regular 30 amp female.
Never mind. The female twist lock is different than the male 30 amp side. - GoldstalkerExplorerIt came with one and I just had another from a past rig that I kept. May have to just buy an extension at Wally world, probably cheaper.
- mich800ExplorerI would have just went with a second regular 30 amp cord. You don't really need the twist on TT side connection for two cords. Did the TT come with the two cords?
