I'd second that notion you'll get more truck for the $$ other than Ford. Nothing wrong with the Ford truck, but you are going to pay more - probably for the aluminum and engineering in it. I haven't seen any real world stuff yet that leads me to believe you'll get any noticeable increase in MPG with the slightly lighter Ford. You'll probably get more payload, obviously.
