Converter/Charger Location

My 2002 Sunnybrook 27fks is not charging the batteries and is not working the 12v DC lighting etc. when plugged into shore power. It has the Intel. 9100 but I for the life of me cannot locate the converter. Found the 110v breaker box in cabinet in master bedroom and 12v DC fuse box in cabinet inside entry door but no converter/charger unit. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Thank both of the last 2 posters. Finally got up to my property this weekend and the first place I looked was under the stove. I don't know how I didn't see that panel the first 5 times I looked but there it was. Slipped the panel off and had a blown fuse on the converter. Swapped it out and all 12v lights and accessories work now. Thanks all for your help. Jeff

Me too. That trailer had the fuses/breakers in a totally different location

  • Thanks for the responce. Unfortunately the trailer is on my property a couple hours away so I'll have to check those when I get back up there in a couple weeks.
  • I'm going to guess the converter is behind one of the two locations you already found.
  • You have to have a meter first.

Measure the voltage at the battery when not plugged in?
Measure plugged in to shore power?
Measure connected to the truck with the truck running?

Check with a volt stick that the converter has 120 volts to it when on shore power.
Check the DC output at the converter output terminals.

Once you have done that, fill in the answers and we can go from there.
