I attached the panels with commercial grade Velcro, locating 2" long strips at required intervals. I used 3/32" tinted Plexiglas, but would recommend at least 1/8". The panels are mounted on the outside of the screen door making it a little easier to keep clean.

Well, guess what I will be doing Saturday......This is a fantastic idea. I have plenty of windows, but this will save me constantly opening the main door to go in and out.
