This is the entertainment area where the TV normally sits with the VCR/SAT/DVD player in the cubby below. There was a large oval mirror on the wall originally, but with our 27" LCD TV on the shelf the mirror was useless so it was moved and with the TV there was a large wasted area behind it so I decided to put some shelves on the wall to help organize our VCR tapes, DVD disks, remotes storage, etc.
I made this shelf out of oak with the decorative railing that match others around the trailer. Total cost with the stain was close to $80 of which almost $30 was just for the railings. The cabinet is 31" wide and 20" high.
Here is the cabinet mounted and has room for VCR tapes/disks on top and storage for other TV related items on the bottom two shelves. The TV here is not the one that normally goes there and is an old tube type.
Overall I'm pleased with it and was able to match the color fairly close.
