The Toyo AT3 tread design is much better than the AT2 for about everything, they certainly grip better and move more water and slush out than the 2's did. However they would likely be a little louder due to the more open tread design. I don't have an issue with it, I would say I don't notice any real road noise at all and I have them on a DRW, but such things are subjective. My only question is how long they will last, as I stated, so far mine are doing fine. A buddy of mine has them on a Ram 3500 SRW and they were wore out way before the mileage wear out warranty and got another set at a reduced price. We will see how this newest set does. I would put a shout out on the Falcon Wildpeaks as well. Really good tire.
