Copper Canyon...who's interested?

I'm looking to scrounge up a few like-minded individuals for a Copper Canyon trip. This would be my first trip to that area.

2-4 rigs would be ideal.
Approx 2 wks total, give or take.
I'm open on timing...could be as soon as end of June, or maybe in the Fall?

A little about me: 54yo engineer, located in San Diego. Likes to dive, fish, surf, 4x4. Prefers boon docking over RV parks. Lots of Baja trips in past 30 yrs.

I haven't put too much thought in the logistics yet...I'm open for suggestions. Thinking about doing a big loop down Baja to La Paz, catch ferry to Topolobampo/Los Mochis (~$350, 8hr trip), see Copper Canyon sites, then possibly enter US in Texas (I have family there I should visit). Probably 2 wks not enough time.
