Thanks Cummins12V98,
Your response is pretty much what I was already thinking. Was hoping to hear that someone else has been there and done that. I had not thought about adding the Bilstien shocks, but sounds like a good idea.
My current toy hauler is squatting the truck about 3 inches in the rear and I am noticing my headlights are a little high. Going with the Momentum would/should squat the truck a little more. The added pin weight had me more concerned than the gearing requirements.
Would adding the Bilstiens now make a noticeable difference over the stock setup?
Thanks again,
Find one one with the Aisin tranny! Then anyone of the three ratio's will cover that load.
On edit: I see you already own the truck and made the mistake of not getting one with an Aisin tranny!!!!! For the RAM to play equally with the other two, it needs the optional Aisin tranny. If you do more towing than running around empty get 4:10's if the other way around get 3:42's. 3:42's will tow in 5th the same as 4:10'S in 6th.
Advantage of 3:42's is a freeway cruiser bobtail! 80MPH is only 1750 RPM. :) :) :)
