We've got 36 cartons of vinyl 6 x 36 stacked in my sewing room waiting for August to get here....flooring month. So excited to get this put down in the LR and DR. Has the look of an old pine.
We bought some of the early laminate that was supposedly "everything proof"....we have always had an assortment of rescue doggies and were in dire need of a re-do. They assured us that this was THE thing. NOT! Toenail scratches, puddles caused it to bubble up and after about 4 years we ripped it all up and went back to inexpensive carpet. When I started looking recently the man at Lowe's assured me that this vinyl was what I needed. He did his best sales job and gave me a sample to bring home to DH to look at. I jokingly (??) told him that if this was no better than the first, I was coming after him. We put the sample in a sink of water all day and not the first sign of any problem. No glue, just snap together. Think you made a good choice. Your job looks good. Is it possible to lift the toilet up just a bit to slide the flooring underneath?? That would be a stinker to cut. If push comes to shove, maybe you could fine some of the bendable quarter round to finish it.
