Cut Electrical cord from Tire blowout

I have a 2010 (made in 2009) Dutchmen 26F DSL the left side tire came apart and during repair found a electrical cord with Green Black and White wires cut? pulled. The wire goes to the electrical outlet on seat for the table in slide. The other 5 ft. I am not sure where it was pulled from so I could make a repair. I have check all along the unit to see where the other end may have been. All outlets work except this because of the cut black wire cord.

Thanks In advance for any help.

Dutchmen will not give me any info on the wiring.
  • We added an extra layer of (street sign) aluminum under our wires for when the tires break apart. As a shield.
  • Open that box and look for a ripped connection.
Yes you need a new cord.
  • Yes brakes do work, all lights inside and outside work and all outlets work. I believe it was pulled out of a 110 V box but the cord does not reach. The other piece may have been pulled out on the road. The only outlet not to work has this 7 ft wire going to it under slide.
  • At least cap off the cut ends before plugging into shore power.

Optimally you'd want to run a whole new wire jbox to jbox
  • I have an outlet in my slide. To connect there is a cord that runs to a J-box on the frame. The rest is romex to the main panel or jumped off another outlet. I think you should find a j-box close by.
