We have a 2011 Kodiak 200QB paid for and we are looking at a 2013 Flagstaff 25KS. Long story short we down sized from an 2008 Aerolite 30BHSL to the 200QB but now kinda miss having a couch and slide.
We like the Murphy Bed system with the couch under it and the larger bath area in the the 25KS. We went to the local RV place and got some number for the trade and not a bad deal and we would just pay cash for the difference.
Just trying to decide to make the change. The Flagstaff looks like the build quality seems to be less than the Kodiak? But it also has a little better layout. The 25KS is about 553lbs heaver and and alot of that weight is on the hitch with the 25KS having 226lb more hitch weight.
Also I know the Kodiak tows like a dream and no equilizer hitch is needed like we had with the 30BHSL. Not sure the Flagstaff 25KS would tow as nice with the heaver hitch weight.
