It isn't all about millage.
I didn't buy diesel because I don't like the smell, I don't like the added noise, I don't like the added weight, and I didn't like the added purchase cost. I figured I would pay more in gas, I DIDN'T CARE.
Keep your stinky loud diesel trucks, preferably keep them away from me!
I know exactly what you mean!! Because that is just how I used to feel!
The strange thing is now that 'I' own a diesel, I love the smell, the tough extra noise, and the added weight!
Come on over to the dark side you will never go back!!!
The extra weight up front helps keep things stable when towing too.
And while I don't like the extra $$ purchase cost the diesels hold there resale value a little better than the gasser do. And, I totaly hate the extra cost of diesel per gallon right now!
If yer rigs got enough power to safley tow your trailer then thats great what ever it is, Gas, Diesel, SUV, Van, Pickup, HD, or MD tractor, or whatever!
After the stink disipates from my diesel, come over to our camp site & we'll share a cool one.
