Well say what you want I know what mileage I get and the computer on the truck doesn't lie. I document every tank of diesel I put in my truck and calc mileage based on the odometer along with the on board computer. So unlike you I have actual proof along with witnesses of course. If you had a early 6.0 powerstroke I can see why you are a little disgruntled. They did have problems in the early years thats why I have a 7.3L...... By the way its a fact that Diesle engines last longer than gasoline engines when they are worked hard. As far as cost of ownership is concerned my diesel has not cost me near what my gasoline truck did. Once again though its only because I was using the gasoline truck to pull cattle trailers and my fifth wheel. If I just drove around town then the gasoline truck would have probably would have the same cost of ownership. The reason it would have been even is the fact that gasoline engines get terrible mileage.... LOL
Saying the computer doesn't lie after adding a programmer is like saying Ponie's word is gospel cuz he once drove by a church... just doesn't add up.
