OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

You refuse to acknowledge them, then come back with the same "I'll only believe it when I see it" routine. Do you think Trailer Life, or the other sites mentioned are purposefully skewing the results? Do you really think you'd find different results? Is anyone really going to waste a perfectly good day (not to mention quite a few bucks in fuel) just to get you to stop? Do you really think lower HP and Torque are going to keep up?
I already offered to pull next to him in a diesel, loaded with firewood, pulling a 33 foot TT. He refused. He is not going to meet anyone. It is all a lot of hot air. Let him be happy with his gasser, we can be happy with our diesel.
