GM is an US owned company can not say the same for Chrysler though.
Chevy trucks are assembled in the US and the Ram is assembled in Mexico!
Just a few years ago a friend bought a 1/2 ton GM pickup and it was made in Mexico. I bel;eve 1/2 ton RAM's are made in USA.
