Different Route/Same Results:Where are all the TC's

Back from my daughters graduation in Columbus,OH. So proud of her, magna cum-lade Masters. Now she wants a PHD, thought I was done. Well here's the score; Class A's-10, C's-12, 5er's-2, surprising, TT's-6, B's-1, pop-ups-1. Guess I'll have to get to the other side of the river if I want to see some fellow TC'ers. Can't wait for DW to retire, she flew back & forth. Sometimes, I wonder if I should feel guilty going it alone, when I get their I'll let her know. So far I'm not feeling it.
  • Congrats to both your daughter for raising you up right, and to you for the smart daughter.

Hard to believe my own sprout graduated from that same fine institution 20 years ago. And yes, I'm proud of where she is today.

As if I had much to do with it.

As for the goin' it alone guilt trippin' you are barking up the wrong tree. My own bride can only take 2 weeks off at a single pop, even though she now gets 7 weeks a year vacation. So I've crossed the continent alone 3 times now dragging the camper while she flies hither and thither for the fun part of the trip. It has enabled us to camp at Glacier, and Grand Canyon, among other places. I'da made that 5 times, save our TV broke just before we were scheduled to go see Yellowstone, so we both flew and rented a car. Had a great time, but not quite the same. Wish we coulda camped in our own rig instead.
