(I'm sure some would say):RPS, I've driven on this road many times and I don't remember it being steep at all. Wait till someone buys a Lightning and try's towing the Ike. Good luck with that!

I don't think it's a secret that EV's haven't evolved to the point that they're viable tow vehicles. Might work for an around town contractor or a retiree with nothing but time, but that's about the extent of it.

is that 40k.over 5yrs ? seen some tricky adds ,showing how much you,ll save over time. doesn,t say a thing about waiting to charge,or along side the road with a dead battery.

Turtle - They went 86 miles!On Saturday, I went 240 miles without stopping (with my nearly 10k lb TT). I stopped and replaced my 240 miles of energy in less than 2 minutes (truck pump). I drove another 100 plus miles, stopped 40 minutes for lunch in the middle of Illinois corn fields, and drove another 180 miles. 520 miles in the day. Spent the night, and drove 347 miles, with a brief stop. All for $450. And never saw a charging station. I did see my first Dollar General with a hitching post - and in use with horse and buggy.I will keep my EV at home, and use my truck or van for trips to Iowa. My daughters used the van for the trip, and drove the 800+ miles straight through, with one fuel stop.

A certain individual and his cohorts are running a commercial here every 5 minutes informing me how they passed something that will save me $1800.00 per year on my utility costs. While watching it for the 357th time I opened my current electric bill and noticed it more than doubled when compared to the same period last year, where I used less. I wonder what utility/s they are referring to?

I own a 2018 Chevrolet Bolt EV. Sure it takes a long time to charge when low, but I am able to charge mine while it sits in the driveway. I don't have to go somewhere special to charge it. It takes less than 30 seconds of my time to connect and disconnect the cord. I don't have to stand next to it while it is charging like is necessary when filling a tank with fuel. It would costs about $7 to fully charge the battery from totally dead. I am currently getting way better than the EPA range rating, which is 259 miles. I currently am getting a bit over 300 miles of range. Not bad for $7.
