Do I Need To Carry Spare Parts?
Before any trip I always have someone take a general look at the engine, tires, etc.
On this trip, the SUV broke down on the way home about 40 miles from nowhere. Mexican Green Angels came to the rescue, I was towed, ordered the fuel pump and returned home two days later.
2005 Durango with 200,000 miles on it. Should I be carrying major parts such as a fuel or water pump?
I like my SUV and really don't want to change it. Runs great, looks great.
I'm not mechanical but I'm sure the Green Angel could have changed it on the spot.
Or, do we just wait for these things to happen?
