My older brother, the college graduate, just pulled his 5th wheel all the way from MN to Boston and did it 70 MPH the whole way. Heck, he's the smart one, maybe he's on to something.

No debris feild if you know how to react or for most how not to react

At 80, no matter how stable things feel, if something goes wrong there is going to be a large debris field by the side of the hwy. I don't want to be part of it.

There is a stretch through Utah on I-15 that is 80. I took my Avion C-11 trailer through there at that speed this summer, but normally I try to keep it around 65 mph.

Nope... we had the axels flipped on our rig to get some clearance and I was warned not to take any tight curves fast. On straightaways I'll go 60, but on paved mountain/lake approach roads I take it easy.....45-55 mph depending on the kinks in the path. I try NEVER to be in a hurry.

Is the trailer chained to the concrete barrier? LOL

I have pulled 75 where the speed limits allowed it. I have GY g614's on the trailer - rated for 75. 55mph nets me 10mpg, 75 is 7-7.5 mpg....

I think I would've hit 75mph or let the wife drive so I could squirm in pain. Been there done that about 10 yrs ago.
