The 3500 SRW 2wd 6.4 gasser 68re long bed rear axle weighs 2857 lbs.
The 3500 SRW 2wd 6.7 diesel Aisin long bed rear axle weighs 2939 lbs.
All per Ram Body Builders guide specs.
The 6.4 gasser has a 80 lb in the bed payload advantage.
Both trucks have a 7000 rawr so its not hard to see a gasser can't carry anywhere near 800 more lbs in the bed than the diesel equipped truck.
Both truck can safely carry around 3600-3800 lbs in the bed before exceeding its 7000 rawr.
