Does travel trailer furnace have a filter?

The ac unit in my travel trailer has a filter that I clean periodically. Does my furnace have a filter? I've never opened the compartment that houses the furnace.
  • I put a window screen on the back side of the intake grate to keep some dog hair from entering. It has worked very well with very little air flow restriction. No problems
  • No filters.
It's the reason I gotta clean my sail switch periodically because I got dogs that shed. ??
  • I've never seen one that did. But, I'm used to older units. Maybe some of the new ones have one ???
  • No. Filters would obstruct the air flow and cause overheating.
  • The AC has coils and fins that can get obstructed by dust and dirt floating in the air. The furnace does not have coils and fins to get obstructed.
  • highly unlikely. I've yet to see a RV furnace with a filter. They may exist, but if so are pretty rare.
