Yes, depending on the model of thermostat. It could be either a slide arm or a circular "anticipator". Remove cover from the thermostat. Locate adjustment. It should be set around .8. This should give about 2-3 degrees temperature swing. Closer to 1.0 sets the temperature closer to set point. Furnace should run around appro. 6 times per hour.
