China ST tires have a bad reputation maybe rightfully so. But this story does not sound like a systematic problem. I.E. multiple blow outs but just one. So my question is as was indicated in this thread, do you report this flat to DOT/NTSB? Do you report EVERY flat to DOT/NTSB? It seems if one should report a flat with a China ST tire you should report every flat; ST, LT, P etc because they all fail.

The OP probably had his RV out of balance, over loaded or uneven. He most likely had all three conditions at once. It is much easier to blame the ST tires. I ran Tow Master tires for three years at 65% load without issues. The usage included cross country trips.

My 2014 Jay Flight came with Towmax tires in 15 inch wheels. I've only put approx. 2500 miles on them in the last year but they still look fine.
I can only assume Jayco is using Towmax on all of the Jay Flights and most likely the Eagles too. With Jayco being a very popular brand, there has to be literally tens of thousands Towmax tires running up and down the road.
Good tires blow. Cheap tires blow.

I assume you mean $900 dollars worth of damage? It's always a good idea to take a deep breath and think twice before hitting the reply button especially when you are upset about something.

I'd like to see some photos of these tires if you have any (the blowouts)

Without seeing the tires the cause is impossible to know for sure.

Welcome to the OP. Reporting issues is exactly what all folks who had issues need to do. Many complain in online forums but won't take the time to file a complaint with the NTSB.

That said, I'd bet that these were 15" tires. I've done a lot of searches on this issue over the past couple of months. 95% of the anecdotal online reports involve 5ers or 30'+ trailers with Towmax 15" ST tires. I only found one that involved 14", and 2 that were 16". Not one 13".

My 13" Towmax are in their 3rd season on my trailer and are 4 years old according to the date stamp. I've read similar experiences about others with 13" Towmax.

Here's the point, don't blindly change out your tires without some research first. Yes, when it comes time to replace, look at a better brand. But if you change them out of fear, you may simply be throwing money away. Know exactly why you are changing them.

I'm putting LTs on mine when the stock tires wear out. To many similar horror stories about China bombs.

Sorry for your misfortune. If your trailer is insured and have comprehensive coverage, have you contacted your insurance company to see if this might be covered?

WELCOME TO THE FORUM BUT Gee like this has been discussed to death here for the past couple of years.
Perhaps instead of spreading the word he should have been reading the threads about tires and learning.
I suspect that the tires were put on by the manufacturer of the rig so maybe YOU should be venting against them as well.

Perhaps you will stick around and learn other things that may prevent disaster
