Uh...not quite. Maybe that's true where you live out there in the desert, but here in the more populated areas, you just can't pull off the road and set up camp wherever you like. If there's a spot in the Midwest where you can do that, I'd love to know about it. If I could find a place to camp like that, I'd go out and buy a cordless impact driver to keep the woodpeckers company.
Oh and don't forget the pool...a CG with a nice pool is a winner!

Why didn't you state what color t-shirt he was wearing?
If you provide me with a list of things you want to know... I will call him and find out.
Wow, that went way over you head.
The point is the color shirt he was wearing, what he had for dinner or if he had a gun is irrelevant to your story...unless he was using the gun to threaten.
One last time, then I'll drop it.
The question wasn't if he felt really scared, so needed to have a gun on him. The point was if no threats were made, the gun is irrelevant to the story (diesel or gas truck...also irrelevant)...hence, the only reason to include it was if someone made a threat and there was no indication in your story that the new guy made a threat, so the logical conclusion was he didn't just have it on him but used it as a tacit threat.
WTH!!! :h
