- ScottGNomadMeans nothing. Who ever is higher or spins last wins.
- chevorExplorerweight wins. Those pull offs are pointless. Have you seen the one where one truck pulled the other all over the parking lot.
- LowsuvExplorerHere's a flash .
Neither one of them wins against a 2002 4wd Duramax / Allison .
You cannot beat a diesel for towing . - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerAll that proves is one the guy in the Chevy can't drive, two the Chevy most likely has bald tires and three the Ford has a smart driver and good tires!
Notice the Ford still had his brakes applied till the Chevy's tires started spinning? Then just eased off the brakes and on the throttle. Like I said Ford smart driver, Chevy not so smart.
Old bull, young bull you know the rest.
Don - fickmanExplorerWhat a waste of time and tires.
Hook them up to a max load and head up a mountain. That might mean something. This is sound and fury signifying nothing. - JIMNLINExplorer IIIkid stuff

Eco Rules
You're incorrect in your assumption.
These tug of war contests are not about power...they are about traction.
Traction includes factors such as tire grip, compound, size of tire, etc.
Gearing also plays a part.
Weight over the drive wheels....another factor.
And of course let's not forget...driver ability.
I would think a moderately powered 4WD farm tractor on the correct surface may well out tow both the Eco and the Chevy...at the same time....because of these factors.
