Notice the Ford still had his brakes applied till the Chevy's tires started spinning? Then just eased off the brakes and on the throttle. Like I said Ford smart driver, Chevy not so smart.

Actually, Don, bald tires would help, not hinder a truck. The more surface area you have on your contact patch, the more traction you have. The sole reason for treads on highway tires is for rain/snow.
I agree that truck pulls are useless, while I'd much prefer to own the Ford over the Chevy, this 'display' doesn't matter to me.
The winning vehicle in all of these pull-offs has nothing to do with power, it's all traction.
