Electric Tongue Jack Problem....

Just purchased a brand new 2014 Salem Cruise Lite. We are currently out on its maiden voyage. Set and leveled the trailer, placed level-links on all surfaces. Woke up @ 3am to the tongue lower than what I set. Is this normal, or do I have an issue? It isn't extreme, but it is noticeable by all, level confirms what we are all feeling.
Thanks guys!
  • my first thought is did the base it is on settle during night? I usually have to tighten my levelers as walking around and using the trailer tends to cause them to settle if I am not parked on concrete (which is extremely rare)
  • After you jacked it up into place, did you put your stabilizers down firmly? If so, your camper should not have moved.

It should not move after setting. Did the jack sink into the ground?
  • The tongue Jack should not have moved unless it settled into the ground. With all the jacks down on some type of blocking under them this should not have occurred.

Even without the other jacks the only way my tongue jack gets lower is if someone pushed the down button perhaps accidentally?
