Electrical system doesn't work.

Hello all.
Ok, I had my batts hooked up backwards and had my trailer plugged into my house.
I fried the converter.
I've installed a new converter and it does charge the batteries when plugged into the house.
ONLY the 12v lights that are on the roof inside work and the water pump and the light inside the fridge. Absolutely nothing else.
I have checked all the fuses in the breaker panel, checked the breakers in the panel and also have confirmed that the shortstop breakers by the batteries are good and have continuity.
I'm totally out of ideas.
The slide, fridge, ac, furnace, thermostat all do not work.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated greatly.

Yes everything that you said "works" is strictly 12v, and will run on battery power only.

Now plug in to shore power and see if the rest of the stuff inside works. If so. You're good. If not, then you either wired up the new converter wrong, left a wire off, accidently flipped the main breaker off, or something similar.

The items that do NOT work.......don't work on battery power, don't work when on AC shore power and via converter OR don't work period??

Don't work period is easiest.....fuses. Either blown, or bad connections at fuse clips.

Changed out converter......did new converter come with dc panel or used old one?

Hooking battery up backwards and being plugged in shouldn't have fried converter.
Converter has 'reverse polarity' fuses (2 large ones typically 30A or 40A) that blow when battery cables are backwards

Anyway when you changed out converter......check that cables from battery are tight and connections on fuse panel are tight

If you have a meter or a 12v test light, check for 12v power on the load side of the fuses and follow the wires until you find where the power ends.

Usually the breakers on the breaker panel are 120vac and are not part of the 12vdc system.

Do you have incandescent lights or LED? If LED you may have reversed the polarity. LEDs are polarity sensitive.
