- ritterjwExplorerMine are 1/2 inch. I needed to add some when we both a new TT. I went to Ace hardware and bought 1/2" #8 hard flat washers. They worked fine.
- Chuck_GailExplorerAs above. Be SURE you get hardened washers, or they will just squeeze smaller.
- KampfirekidExplorerI ran standard 1/2 inch washers for four years. Although they were larger diameter and not hardened, they never had a problem with "squishing". Be sure you sandwhich the new washers between the factory ones - especially if not hardened.
- HuntindogExplorerAnother tip. A different thickness of washer may give you the perfect adjustment if you find you are in between settings
- Foneguy1ExplorerJust called Equalizer this past Friday, with the same question.
GREAT customer service by the way..
This is what they told me.....
Washers are GRADE 8 (as is all of the hardware)
1/2" ID
1 1/8 OD
1/16" thick
Max number of washers = 8
