Exhaust Brake Problem

I have a problem with my exhaust brake on my 2007 Ram, I think that I have a blown gasket somewhere along the system, anyone have a recommendation for a service near Menifee, California?
Thanks
Michael
  • Thanks for the replies it is a factory installed exhaust brake, I'm just wondering if anyone has had a good experience with any of the Dodge dealers in the area. Thanks Michael
  • What brand of exhaust brake? If it's Jacobs look up the local Cummins dealer.
  • If you don't want to use a Ram dealer, I'd go to Cummins Pacific. They are usually cheaper for parts than the dealer anyway.

In mean time...This is after market add on right? My exhaust brake spit out the threaded plug at the test port and we didn't know it and made one heck of a racket and it also burned a hole in insulation. If that's your problem after looking at it and you have a Pac Brake send me PM. I'll show you the fix on mine that Pac Brake said was great.

My 2007.5 Dodge has the factory exhaust brake.
