Just make sure to follow the directions exactly including unhooking the batteries.
Oh and I recommend the Pac Brake because it has fewer failures than the Jake and has better braking at lower RPM's.

Installed mine myself, helps to have the right tools. Sawsall with a metal cutting blade, and tail pipe expander of the right size (rented/borrowed from parts store).Pakbrake PRXB turbo mounted, best investment I have made in the TV.
