You state that the F350 RAWR is 6340 on the 350?? my F350 is 7240#
LT275/65 18 = 6340
LT275/70 18 = 7240
It's all in the tire option for the F350.
Simple enough to get the correct configuration.
However some of the veterans around here tend to blur the lines by saying the F250 and F350 are the same or they have the same axle, which maybe true.
However if the difference is in the wheels and or tires than one needs to be sure they have the correct wheels and or tires.
One needs to pay attention to all the ratings not just the advertised ratings and not just the ratings they happen to be in compliance with!
Nope, it’s guys like you and spud who make it blurry.
Like him quoting the tire thing.
That’s not a thing, until Ford quits putting the same tire options on both models. Or people quit being gullible enough to buy something with lighter duty tires and then believe it’s all they can carry. Which btw, what spud quoted is wrong, although you’d have to understand tire to understand what ls wrong with his statement.
It’s actually completely laughable that so many of the opinionated don’t make any effort to be well read before opening their virtual mouths (keyboards). Lol.
I will correct my F350 GAWR with my 275/65 tires.
It’s 6780lbs. My bad. In my case the tires dictate my GAWR. My GVWR is still 11,500 regardless of the tires.
I’ll refrain from responding to the insults. Hope your wife is feeling better.
