- Xpd77ExplorerAccording to the Torklift website long range fast guns are designed for frame mounted tie downs. Short range fastguns are designed for bed mounted tie downs. So it just depends on where you tie downs are located. There are pictures on their page to help.

So I have the longest model of the Fast Guns and then add a pair of screw type carabeners to the lower tie down for the length I need. I have seen rigs using a short length of chain to make them the right length. Rear ones fit fine.
- homefor2ExplorerDon't have my camper at home yet so will probably have to wait and measure. It looks like the long ones front and back are about right after measuring from the tiedown hook to the top of the bed rail. I am not sure what kind of mounts I have on the truck but they are not Torklifts.
- mkirschNomad IIThe size of fastguns depends on the distance between the tiedown hook on the camper and the tiedown point on your truck.
It will change depending on:
1. The type of tiedowns you install on the truck.
2. Where you place the camper on the truck. - bedrockerExplorerwhat kind of mounts to you have?
Happiejacks use the short ones up front and long in rear
Torklift frame mounts use the long ones front and rear
