Featherlite1609 Trailer

I am thinking about a trailer to put our 12' long canoes on top and a scooter inside, plus possible miscellaneous items. I don't want a tall trailer because of the canoes and the pop up feature seems nice for loading or unloading the scooter. What say the experienced trailer towers?

    The canoes are only 24 lbs. each, max 50 lbs. on the roof. If the roof won't lift with standard struts I can always get higher rated struts.

    Why not get an enclosed trailer big enough to carry the scooter and canoes inside? The canoes can be hung from the ceiling or strapped to the walls.
