Fender skirt hangers/brackets

Have one of the rod/brackets that support the fender skirt broken. appears to eb about a foot long. Looks like just a flat rod/bracket that screws to the skirt and then the frame. Keeps the fender skirt stable and prevents wobbling, etc...
question...is there an actual term for this, and where would I go to order it?
I could fabricate one out of just about anything, but would prefer saving the time.

thanks
  • Thanks. I appreciate the help. I'll pick up some flat aluminum and make one off the others.
  • You can always remove the other one and use it to duplicate. I ended up ordering one just because I didn't want to spend the time to form it and such.
  • Buy a piece of 1" flat aluminum from Lowe's and then cut and form it. Easy and cheap
  • I too made my own. It was quicker and easier than trying to order it. I used a 1 inch strip of diamond plate. Right strength and flexible.
  • My tt has aluminum strips that are screwed in on each end. They are then bent and twisted to the right length so that the skirt sits right. Thought it kind of cheaply done when I got it but it works just fine. I don't think they are a special part. You could get a strip of metal at any hardware store faster and for less $.
