You lost me Tory "Yep... Another Nanny state with free oil changes!" Are you saying Ohio is a Nanny State? If so why? I think all the States require a disposal fee be charged on repair service don't they?
I just shake my head when someone thinks there getting something free. :R
One example of getting something free:h....I took delivery of my truck on May 9th. of 2013'...at that time, picture frame adapters were like hens teeth, (very hard to find, if at all)....I've been a customer at my dealership since 1996 and since then, have purchased quite a few vehicles from them and sent them quite a bit of business also. I COULDN'T tow all of May, nor June and was letting EVERYONE know, who would listen and who didn't want to hear it just how TICKED I was at purchasing the GN/5er prep package, but no picture frame adapter to be able to tow...fast forward to SECOND week in JULY!! Owner of Skyland Automotive Group in Asheville NC, (my dealer), calls me and talks to me about how badly they feel about truck I ordered taking so long to come in and now about me canceling camping trips because I can't tow my 5er...At this point, he tells me that he had spoken to Chrysler's regional rep about this and they had a picture frame adapter coming in, (got it about 3 day's after this conversation), BUT, they also GAVE me a Chrysler Max Care extended Warranty, 7yr, 100,000 mile, zero deductible plan....I didn't pay a penny for it....I did the deal on my truck on May 9th, a little over 2 months later, my dealership "gave me, free of charge", this extended warranty. SO, this action taken by my dealer didn't cost me a penny....and the 4 free oil changes that I got when I purchased the truck, (still have one left), for what the warranty would have cost me, that I didn't purchase, I would say MORE than pays for the 4 free oil changes."free" oil changes..:B I know that whomever paid for this extended warranty with zero deductible got a heck of a discount on it, but at that time, IF I had purchased it at time of purchasing my truck, it would have cost me an additional $2400,, thus the reason I didn't buy it..so yeah, this warranty was given to me and no way did I pay anything for it,:)
