FLEETWOOD TRAVEL TRAILER PULLS TO LEFT WHEN BRAKING ?

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Mallard 18CK, i pulled it out front beside the house, took it straight to the local tire center to get new trailer tires. Took it out for its first trip 2 weeks later and notice that on harder brakes the trailer pulls to the left. I tried just using the trailer brake to see if it would still do it and it still pulled left slightly. I have never experienced this before and dont even know where to begin ? I dont think it has to do with the new tires as the trailer tracks completely straight until braking.Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance.

  • Could be a leaking bearing seal allowing grease to saturate the brake. I had that happen to I trailer. Most definitely something wrong with the opposite side breaks not working properly.
  • My guess is a broken or disconnected wire. The wires have quick connect from the brakes to the trailer wiring. It's possible when they put the jack under the trailer they might have snagged the wire.
  • Could be broken wire, bad magnet, worn out brake shoes......brakes not adjusted
Gonna have to test & inspect to find issue
  • sounds like right side trailer brakes not engaging. Jack up one wheel at a time and have someone engage brake while you turn wheel. Should lock up. If not you could have broken wire or bad magnet. Just a matter of elimination.
