I have a house in the west Melbourne area, It isn't in the city limits. No restrictions

That IS a really nice area!! Our condo complex called Riverway, is at the end of Viera Blvd where it meets US-1. They will allow your truck to be parked there as long as it's not a "work truck" with advertising all over it. You'll still need a place to keep the TC, though. The HOA rules are NOT overly restrictive, IMO - or we wouldn't have bought there....LOL! And it's NOT a "senior" facility - we specifically wanted a place with a nice mix of all ages, including kids. They have 1000' of Intracoastal Waterway frontage; hiking paths, volleyball court, pool, and tennis courts.

Although may HOA have restrictions about parking a truck,(not with TC,) some do not. When it comes to "commercial," many communities define it as a truck with lettering for a business on the outside, or tools or tool rack in the bed. Regular trucks are not.

The only way you can be sure is read the covenants and restrictions for that particular HOA. A real estate agent can get them for you.

Read them VERY CAREFULLY. Many sad stories have resulted from buyers that did not.

In Oregon many HOA's define ''Commercial'' truck as any 350/3500. Or 10K GVW. Of course these were written back in the days when no one bought a pickup except for contractors or farmers....

Just be careful and have a really great Realtor that knows these issues. We might hate HOA rules but many people love the HOA rules and move there for the cleaner and ''better'' neighborhood feel.

Most people don't use the garage to park cars or trucks. They are used for storage or man caves.

Pompano Beach is a great place, me and my wife used to rent ***Link Removed*** and have our holidays there, before we became camper folks.
We have yet to visit Pompano Beach with our Camper. Are there any Campinggrounds you would recommend?
