What?!? What service manual told you to do this? I have never done this, and have changed my V10's plugs 4 times myself.

That is what the dealer told me and he said that labor alone was $365. I have questioned his competence but not his honesty before. Maybe he lied but a took it to a local mechanic that only charged me $170. All the I know for sure is that from inside the van I could only see the back of the engine and looking in from the hood all I could see was the front of the engine. The plugs were on top and that space looked very tight.
