Towing...first impressions. Now I don't have a light trailer, and I knew I'd miss the engine out of my F150. For those who have no time towing with a 3.5l Ecoboost should probably stop reading. You don't have a clue.
The 6.2l feels sufficient unloaded. Its peppy and gave me high hopes for towing. Under a load, its simply lacking. Now the chassis on the F250 is the greatest thing since sliced bread. This thing tows straight with confidence.
The bed barely squats with 1200lbs. I could forget I had a trailer, if not for the engine. And it goes down to the road just fine....well....unless the guy in front of you cuts a fart. Then you downshift to 3rd gear while turning over 3500 rpms. These are things my EB lugs out in 5th. Honestly, if I had towed before buying, I'd have bought another F150. There, I said it.
